Blasphemy, or sin against the Holy Spirit, is when you take the true work of the Holy Spirit and you speak evil of it, attributing his work to the devil. The term “unforgivablesin” typically refers to “blasphemy against the HolySpirit,” an offense described in the Gospels as one that will never be forgiven. While there is an unforgivablesin, it is not one that a true believer in Jesus Christ can commit. The one sin which God cannot forgive is mentioned in Mark 3:28-30 and Matthew 12:31-32. Jesus had been performing miracles, including driving demons out of people by the power of the HolySpirit.
